The Greatest Party Ever by Tim and the Space Cadets!
I just got a copy of The Greatest Party Ever by Tim and the Space Cadets. This is one of the best “kids music” records I have ever heard. The songs and arrangements are great. I play live with Tim(who is also a great bass player!) and got the call to play upright on the track “When I Grow Up”…The bass was recorded at my home studio and the whole session was done via the internet! Listen to the track below and check out my internet recording page to find out how it was done!

When I Grow Up
How Do I Forget by Andrea Torzala
Hot off the press! I just got a copy of the tracks I recorded for Arizona based singer/songwriter Andrea Torzala. The tracks were for her debut EP entitled, How Do I Forget. The songs turned out great and it was a real pleasure working with Andrea and co producer Ryan Brehm. All the bass work was recorded in my home studio in Brooklyn and sent to Ryan’s Studio in Scottsdale, AZ via the net. I used my Fender TBP-1 and P-bass for most of the tracks, but also got a chance to bust out some fretless bass and solo on the track Rain Man.

Fireman by Apollo Run
Here is a video clip of me recording the bass for Fireman by Apollo Run. This was recorded at producer David “Dibs” Shakney’s home studio in upstate New York. This is the 2nd take and I think the one we used for the the final track. You can find out more about Dibs by visiting his website the DibS Reaction. You can learn more about Apollo Run and hear more of their songs (I played bass on them all) by visiting www.apollorun.com.
Here is the finished track.
This Moment Now by Briana Winter

This is a single I recorded upright bass on. It was for solo artist Briana Winter. The song was produced by the very talented Brandon Wilde, of the band Black Bunny. It was so much fun to get to work with these two great musicians.
A composition for Dance…
My first composition for Modern Dance will be performed this weekend on Saturday, August 15th at 5:30 at Dance New Amsterdam in New York, New York. The piece, entitled, “Flight Pattern #53 For Water Landing” is a new solo work based on the pull between heaven and earth. It explores the possibilities of air verses weight and is a work study for the evening length piece “Proximity Of Clouds.” Proximity Of Clouds will debut sometime in mid 2010. I have been fortunate enough to have been chosen work with renowned, New York based choreographer, Chris Ferris on these works and am looking forward to delving more into the world of composition for dance… Here is a clip of the music for Flight Pattern #53.
